Monday evening, three Spring Firefighters were promoted to the prestigious position of Apparatus Operator.

2019 has been a banner year for the Spring Fire Department for many reasons.

The winter months are commonly referred to as flu season, but they are also flue season. So, while everyone should be sure to get their flu shots, it’s also important to remember how to safely use a fireplace because most fireplace accidents happen around January and February.

On Saturday, November 23, the Spring Fire Department honored firefighters who went above and beyond for the citizens of Spring in 2019.

Around 8:30 this morning, a woman called 9-1-1 for help and ended up helping save her own life.

In case you haven’t noticed, Spring is not the rural railroad stop it was in the early 1900s nor is it a small bedroom community anymore. Spring is a vibrant, growing community that is home to major campuses of Fortune 500 companies, a Six Flags Waterpark, hundreds of businesses and so much more.

Spring Fire Department recently participated in the 2019 Herman Hospital Orthopaedic Trauma Symposium held in The Medical Center.

The Spring Fire Department is proud to welcome Captain Greg Monroe as our new training captain. After careful consideration of many applicants, Captain Monroe proved himself the most qualified individual for the position.

The Spring Fire Department, Cypress Creek EMS, Tomball Fire Department and Northwest Community Health are teaming up with Invisible Fence of Greater Houston to help reduce the number of pets killed or injured in house fires each year.

As the temperatures rise to the triple digits, the Spring Fire Department wants to share some tips to keep you and your family safe and cool this summer.

Spring Fire Department holds high standards for its recruits as the department continues to evolve. Candidates from across the state tested for full time Firefighter/EMT positions in Spring, however only a select few will withstand the rigorous and demanding requirements to serve this community.
