This Mother’s Day weekend, the Spring Fire Department is joining forces with Cypress Creek EMS and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to honor our first responder moms. They bless us every day with their selfless service.
Spring Fire Rescues Child Trapped in Elevator Door
On Tuesday, May 8th, the Spring Fire Department was dispatched to “The Venue” on Spring Plaza Drive for an elevator entrapment. When they arrived on scene they found a 4 year old boy with his forearm stuck between the elevator door and door’s pocket.
New Command Vehicle in Service
Our 3 Shift Commanders share this 2018 Chevrolet Suburban state-of-the-art Command vehicle which replaces their older 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Spring Fire Station 71 was packed on Sunday afternoon as members of the Spring community joining firefighters and their families to celebrate the department’s 65 years in service to the community.

Production Update: Pierce Velocity Ascendant 107′ Aerial – Pictures updated 4/12/18
We are expecting a May 2018 delivery of our Pierce Velocity Ascendant 107′ Aerial truck. This truck will be housed at the new Station 75 on FM 2920 that should open in June 2018.
Training Field to be named after former Chief
Our future training field will be named after former Chief W.W. “Cotton” Weaver. Cotton has been involved in community service with both Spring Fire Department and Cypress Creek EMS for many years.
