It has come to my attention that an organization claiming affiliation with the Spring Fire Department is cold calling residents in our area seeking donations to purchase fire trucks and equipment. As the Fire Chief, I can assure you that the Spring Fire Department does not use a telemarketing service to seek donations over the phone. Please report any such calls to law enforcement.
A tough wake-up call in the Candlelight Hills Neighborhood this morning as residents of a two-story house awoke to smoke and flames.

The first Spring Fire Smoke Alarm Blitz of 2019 is in the books. On Saturday, March 9, teams of firefighters, American Red Cross members and Klein Oak High School JROTC cadets knocked on over 200 doors in the Greengate Place neighborhood offering to check residents’ smoke alarms.
Spring Fire Department Firefighters joined forces in February, and the challenge was for fun, comradery and bragging rights.
